Oat Waffle Recipe


Oat Waffles

Dry Ingredients:

4 cups rolled oats

½ cup ground millet (or cornmeal)

1 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla (optional)

½ cup almonds

5 cups water

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Cover and place in fridge for a few hours (or overnight).

When ready to cook, pour 2 cups of batter at a time into the blender and blend until smooth.

Preheat waffle iron and bake until golden grown.

Freeze leftovers and pop them in the toaster to warm.

So, I made them and we had them with a raspberry/blackberry sauce that I made. Yummy! They are pretty good for being more healthy than a regular waffle. Thanks for the recipe.
